I liked the sweet waffle much better than the savoury ones. It has generous portions and a reasonable price. Also great selection of bubble tea which I loved it.

AMAZING. The selection of waffles toppings is huge, and they have savoury and sweet options. The price is right for everything you get; my banana split waffle had so much ice cream and toppings it was surprising. Will definitely be back.

Good service and food. Had a salmon waffle which was delicious. The owner is so nice and friendly to offer us to try his new Valentine cheese cake waffle.

Disorganized and slow (though friendly) service. Waited half an hour for takeout. Waffles are not bad. Hopefully service speed will improve after grand opening weekend is over.

Nice portion, decent price and great staff. The most important thing is the waffles taste great! We ordered “Strawberry Deluxe” and Chicken Salad”. Both of them are excellent! Definitely recommend come have a try!

Not too bad, the waffle is so so. If you expect a very good taste waffle, i think it is not the right place. For the customer satisfaction, not very good, but OK. The waitresses are nice. For the food and drink, all is regular, no anything can make you feel special. The food is good-looking, that will make you want to try it.

The waffles I ordered was pretty good, but the supposed poached egg was not a poached egg at all. The drinks were not so good, my milk tea was powdery and the matcha latte tasted funny. I definitely recommend the waffles though.

Good place to eat. Menu was interesting in a weird kinda way. Prices were good. Waffles were good. The strawberry smoothie was amazing and the service was really good.

Been here many times. Waffles are perfectly cooked, service is good as well. Lots of space, but not a lot of tables. I like both their savory waffles (the brunch waffle is good) and sweet waffles (had the strawberry heaven deluxe).

It wasn't very good. The waffle was super sweet and clashed with the cheese egg and bacon. Also, very dense, I prefer lighter fluffier waffles. The bacon was also kinda weirdly chewy, but not in a meaty chewy kind of way. I had hoped a place that was breakfast forward would have good bacon. It is unlikely that I will return.

This place serves great waffles and other treats and it is also good that they have a variety of beverages.👍

Waffles were still uncooked in the middle But everything else was good.

Waffle was okay, nothing too special. I thought the waffle was a bit too doughy. The servers were nice but very disorganized. I had to remind them to bring cutlery and water. Also, I had upgraded my waffle to a mochi waffle, but when the server brought my food she did not know if there was mochi inside the waffle or not.

Shared a couple of the waffles here and really enjoyed both the sweet and savory ones. Prices were reasonable for the waffles and great variety. The bubble tea wasn't half bad either (just a but pricey).

Good food that is reasonably priced. Staff are nice and made sure we had what we needed. Coffee is good. They deliver with skipthedishes. Free wifi. Bacon and cheese was phenomenal a friend said.

A hidden little brunch and dessert place, Waffle Gone Wild specializes in liege waffles. I've been to their old, now closed, location in Kitsilano, and was excited they opened up shop again. I had the Chickpea Waffle (savory) which had some chopped vegetable toppings, sweet sauce, and a dalop of wasabi, giving it more of a complex texture and flavor. Came with a small side of chopped fruit. My friend got the Smoked Salmon Waffle (savory) and thought it was okay. That one came with salad. The liege waffle here is quite sweet and fluffy, with some crispy edges, making this more on the sweet side of savory dishes. The price was very reasonable. The A/C was a little too cold for me. Overall, the food was not bad. The environment felt like a cafe. I'd like to come back and try their sweet waffles next time.

They have a special recipe for their waffle batter here and I loved the consistency of it. Our servers that night seemed a bit awkward and inexperienced but it was a nice place to hang out!

It is ok. If waffles are what you are looking for you are going to be ok here. I won't need to go there again but I wasn't disappointed.

good ambiance and clean space.smiling, patient, and helpful staff.washroom is also clean and has a big space. but hard to find (at the far back) which looks like it would lead to the kitchen.not a lot of people. which is what we liked about the place, not congested. parking is at back and 2-3metered parking in front.interesting layout of the place. tables are squares and chairs are padded. there's also booth styles for seating near the walls.food is fairly good. we got the berry waffles. it was actually good. only thing was we were worried if the waffle was too soft inside. because the batter might not be cooked well. but for me the texture was ok. we haven't tried the other vegetarian/vegan options but we will surely go back again.so farnothing negative. will change review for updates.

It’s 10:01 on a cold and rainy January 3rd.A creamy matcha fog and tasty poached egg and bacon waffle warm me right up. They opened at 9:30 and I’m done. Yum and yum.I also got a box of liege waffles to go.Cons: the pepper shaker dispenses *fast*. Shake with caution. Recommendation: if your dish comes with side greens, mix them or get your dressing on the side. The dressing has concentrated flavour which is nicely enjoyed when dispersed evenly.

The piña colada bubble tea is crazy amazing. Really nice staff here too that go out of their way for you to have a great experience.

This place is relatedly new, and they were promoted with Groupons. They have a wide selection of sweet and savory waffles. Perfect for breakfast, lunch, and of course dessert. The prices here are decent, and there are a lot of milk tea / slush options as well.

the food is good but not like WOW! the service ain't bad. In my opinion it's overpriced and a one time visit to try it and that's it. you want real good and authentic waffles then go to Nero, they're also overpriced by a little but waffles there are way better.

Noticed this place had popped up recently (early 2017) so we gave it a try for dessert one night. We were delightfully surprised! The presentation and variety of ingredients in their waffles is exceptional. We shared the Japanese green tea mochi waffle - highly recommended.The owner and staff were super friendly and genuinely curious about our feedback.They serve sweet and savoury waffles, with many options and Asian ingredients. It's a little like Cafe Crepe but unique in its own way.

I had the shrimp salad waffle and my daughter had the chicken sundried tomato waffle. They were great!

The service is excellent here. They are welcoming and polite, the unfortunate part is I didn’t love the food. My waffle tasted like it was stuffed with potato salad from costco. I appreciate the effort, i think the menu needs tweaking. I wouldnt say no to coming again, but i would not suggest or recommend this location to people who want waffles.

It was ok. I found the portions lacking and the flavours to complex. It almost confused my tongue. It was very clean and the staff where amazingly friendly. Food came quickly enough. And prices where fair for the area.If your looking for something out of the ordinary come here

Been meaning to try this place out for a while now and finally went! Ordered the smoked salmon and the chocolate waffles. And absolutely loved it. The smoked salmon was a nice blend and one thing I loved was that the Smokey taste didn’t over power the whole dish. Was a nice combination of the two. The chocolate one in the other hand was not as sweet as I was afraid it would be! Was perfect blend. And the coffee flavoured whip cream and vanilla ice cream was the best!

We tried a few savoury and sweet waffles here and they were quite tasty. The service was quick. The waffles are pretty dense, bordering on biscuit level, but they were still good. I would come back to try more flavors!

i would give more than 5 stars if i could. some friends and i were parked outside about 10 minutes after they closed and call to see if they were still open. they said they weren’t open but would be more than willing to make a waffle for us. we declined and said we’d come back another day because we felt bad. We were about to leave when an employee came out and gave us free waffles. so kind and amazing customer service. so so so sweet would recommend 100000% for the amazing service and delicious wafflesupdate: the man came out for a second time and brought us more free waffles. his name is allan. if you’re reading this, thank you allan you made our day and we love you!
